In 2018 the competition was once again named HRX One Mile Challenge, but compared to more than 10 previous years the event stood out for three reasons: firsty, instead of two stages only one stage was held (on 11 August); secondly, the competition was won with a stock factory setting car and thirdly, altogether 10 competitors achieved 300 km/h or more. The overall winner was Thomas Padovani, who achieved 335 km/h with his Porsche 991 GT2 RS. Class A was won by Aivar Tsõbin with a new class record 293 km/h (Nissan Primera). Class B winner was Toomas Tuuling (Audi S4, 312 km/h). The competitor with the fastest diesel car was Martin Prual (BMW 535d, 253 km/h) and the fastest woman was Mari-Liis Voit (Audi R8, 285 km/h).

Results

In 2017 OMC carried a name HRX One Mile Challenge, as HRX was the name sponsor. Stage one was held on 10 June and brought along a shower of records in all classes. The competition was won by Roul Liidemann (Dodge Viper GTS) who set the new overall record at 362 km/h. New record in Class B was set by Gert Leisson (Audi S4) at 341 km/h and in Class A by Erik Koitla (Audi A4) at 282 km/h. The fastest diesel was Martin Luts (Audi A4) at 254 km/h and fastest woman Kätlin Kaera (BMW 325i E30) who achieved 247 km/h.

Stage 2 was held on 19 August. This time new guys made the day. The competition was won by Class B record holder Gert Leisson (Audi S4), who achieved 353 km/h, followed by Danel Bikin (Volvo 940) at 317 km/h. The third was Urmas Koppel (Porsche 911 Turbo) at 308 km/h. Fastest diesel was Eldar Zabitov (BMW 330) at 393 km/h and fastest woman Julia Hurt (Porsche Panamera Turbo) at 287 km/h.

Results

In 2016 OMC introduced its first name sponsor, who was a long-term partner OÜ Forss. The first stage of Forss One Mile Challenge was held on 11 June, when the overall winner was Aleksandr Ljahh (Nissan Skyline GTR, 346 km/h) who was followed by Aleksandr Lomeiko (BMW 325i E30, 330 km/h). 300 km/h barrier was broken also in Class B, where Ivar Miilberg (BMW 325i E36) achieved 304 km/h. The fastest woman was the winner of Class A Marija Sheljakina, who achieved 258 km/h in her MB CLA45 AMG.

Stage two took place on 20 August. The fastest was Roul Liidemann (Dodge Viper GTS), who repeated his previous record 343 km/h and was followed by Anti Kevvai, who drove a BMW E36 Compact with a Toyota Supra engine and achieved 322 km/h. „The 300 km/h Club“ also welcomed Class B winner Erki Hiie (Audi Coupe, 308 km/h) and Markel Voit (Audi RS 6, 301 km/h). Ergo Viismaa set the record of diesel powered cars at 296 km/h with his MB C220d.

Results

In 2015 One Mile Challenge celebrated its 15 anniversary and did it in style. The first stage, held on 13 June, was won by Aleksandr Lomeiko who in his aged, but mint condition BMW E30 325i achieved 338 km/h. As no-one reached that speed Aleksandr did not take the second run to save the car and himself. It must be noted, though, that Aleksandr Ljahh broke the cardan of Nissan Skyline GTR well above 300km/h, but remained calm and stopped the car with no effort, still achieving 296 km/h.

In the second stage, held on 15 August, Aleksandr Ljahh achieved a new Estonian record 350 km/h with the same Nissan Skyline GTR. Aleksandr Lomeiko (BMW 325i) achieved 335 km/h, but also Sander Kelner (BMW M5, 327 km/h), Tormis Hoffmann (Toyota Supra, 313 km/h) and Ken Kasch (BMW 550, 312 km/h) achieved speeds over 300 km/h. The fastest diesel record was set to 280 km/h by Ergo Viisma in a Merdeces-Benz C220d.

Results

In 2014 the first stage was unconventionally on Sunday 15 June, as the government of Ridala parish did not grant a license for the event on 14 June which was a national mourning day. This turned out to be very good, because the weather on Saturday would have meant cancellation of the event, whereas on Sunday the weather was perfect. The event was won by Roul Liidemann who achieved 327 km/h in his Dodge Viper GTS.

The second stage was held on 16 August and brought a major change – the race was turned the other way, from the seaside to land. The racers loved the change. The race was again won by Roul Liidemann in a Dodge Viper GTS with an Estonian record 343 km/h. It must be said that before him Sander Kelner (BMW M5) set the new Estonian record 330km/h, but could only enjoy it for some 10 minutes before Roul Liidemann’s run. The magical 300 km/h barrier was broken by 5 racers.

Results

In 2013 the first race was held in Kiltsi airfield on 8 June and was won by Erik Olesk, who achieved 319 km/h in his Audi S4 Avant.

The second stage was held on 23 August. The fastest was Janis Piiritalo who drove Audi S6 Avant and achieved 316 km/h.

In 2012 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on June 16, 2012. Since the speeds had risen very significantly, the security requirements were made much stricter.

AC Mile took place on August 11, 2012. The „300 km/h club“ welcomed Erik Olesk (Audi S6) and 300km/h was also passed by Maksim Zolotarjov (Toyota Supra), who set the new Estonian rekord.

In 2011 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on May 28, 2011 together with Autoslalom competition. The event carried a label of AC Racing Weekend. A joint results were taken in order to determine the persoon who can handle his/her fast car the best. The „300 km/h club“ welcomed Marje Salumets (Audi Coupe), who was the first female winner and the first overall winner competing with Class B car, and Janis Piiritalo (Audi S6). AC Mile took place on August 13, 2011. 300 km/h was exceeded by 5 competitors, the „300km/h club“ welcomed Aleksand Lomeiko (BMW 325i), Arvo Siimar (Nissan 350Z) and Juhani Kautto (Nissan GTR). The event was won by Aleksandr Ljahh (Nissan Skyline GTR) and 300km/h was also passed by Janis Piiritalo (Audi S6).

In 2009 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on May 30, 2009. Ever since then, all one mile top speed competitions in Estonia have been organized by the Estonian Audi Club team. The „300 km/h club“ welcomed Artur Hatšaturjan (Mercedes-Benz SL55AMG).

AC Mile took place on August 15, 2009. The „300 km/h club“ welcomed Aki Virtanen (Saab 9-5) and Aleksandr Ljahh (Mitsubishi 3000GT). The magic limit was passed altogether by 4 competitors, ie once again also by the winner Roul Liidemann (Dodge Viper GTS) and also Artur Hatšaturjan (Mercedes-Benz SL55AMG).

In 2008 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on June 8, 2008. Speed was again measured by AC Timing System. The event was organized by tqhq.ee (for the last time) and Estonian Audi Club teams. The „300km/h club“ welcomed Roul Liidemann (Dodge Viper GTS).

AC Mile took place on August 16, 2008. The competition was interrupted by heavy rain, so the second round was cancelled. The event was organized by Estonian Audi Club team.

In 2007 the event took place on Kiltsi airfield near Haapsalu, where it happens to date. Since the speeds had risen significantly, the layout was turned the ohter way, so that the spectators were standing in the start line. The event was on May 19, 2007 and speed was measured by AC Timing System. The event was organized by tqhq.ee and Estonian Audi Club team.

On August 11, 2007, another one mile top speed competition – AC Mile – took place, which enabled speed enthusiasts to challenge their cars and courage twice a year. Already on the very first event the magic 300 km/h barrier was broken by two competitors – Maksim Zolotarjov (Toyota Supra) and Viljar Mäesepp (Nissan 300ZX). The event was organized by Estonian Audi Club team.

In 2006 One Mile Challenge took place in Pärnu airfield on May 27, 2006. Speed was for the first time measured with the help of AC Timing System, developed by Estonian Audi Club team. The event was organized by tqhq.ee and Estonian Audi Club team.

On May 28, 2005 One Mile Challenge took place in Tapa airfield for the last time. The organizers were again tqhq.ee and Streetrace teams. This was the year when speed in excess of 300 km/h was first seen on the radar display (Maksim Zolotarjov, Toyota Supra). However, the official result was still less.
